........but a bit more fun (since I'll be able to wear it later).
I don't know what I did but after 2 days it's still not completly dry.
An attempt to share my feelings for yarn, knitting and other sensations in my life.

Freyja, UFO in progress
This month I want to finish with my UFO (January & February 2014). Not only to complete but also that I want to feel the lett-lopi while wearing it and I want to wear the cardigan prior to the real Spring comes.
I managed to bring out the sewing machine and made two seams.
I tried to pull in some threads to see that the yarn was secured and then I took out the scissors.....
The pattern calles for only one purl stitch but I was a bit concerned and added a few stitches. However, when cutting, I think I managed well in the centre of the purled stitch (or stitches since I had to cut twice).
It's now time to bring out the crochet hook and the VERY NICE tin buttons that I bought in Granhammar in December.

Stjärnhop II completed
At Ullcentrum this summer I bought yarn for another Stjärnhop, this time for a gift and now that is completed. Approx 200 gr of black and blue with a little help from leftover blue for the back side of the edge and some Rauma finull in white.
I made 13 stars, the same size as I made for myself earlier.
Next is to giftwrap and hope it will warm the reciever.

Varmt & Stickat - mittens
I bought the book "Varmt & Stickat" for myself around Christmas. I had it on my bedside table and flipped the pages, again and again and again. - I want to knit this.....and this.....and this.......
After a while I got my post-it notes and started to mark the pages. It feels that I ended up marking them all. I have now finally started with a project. I'm making the mittens from the front page and using Smart from Sandnes in two purple shades that I bought this fall to make mittens for the girls.
This is also the first time I knit with the Knit Pro carbon needles (Syfestival investment!). I'm using 3 mm and I really like the feeling and the sound that they make.
Eva and Erika, what a beautiful book you made. Thanks!

Packing my bag!
Saturday I met Eva at Syfestivalen and recieved my price for finishing my LUFO cardigan Diva last year in the UFOblirFO2013. I'm proud and thankful for the great gift. The bag is beautiful and today I packed it and brought it to the office. I managed to meet some friends and have quick lunch knitting break.
Thank you Eva for offering this as a price!

Beam / Stråla cowl x 2
For the first time I've been a test knitter. Anna let me participate and knit her lovely cowl Beam (Stråla).
I made two of them, the first one in purple Rowanspun DK and it is forgiving since I manage to stop thinking and missread how the cable should be twisted.
On the second one in bright pink (with one thread Super Minnie merino and one thread kid mohair from Warp & Weft) I managed to make it correct.
They still need some blocking to be at their best.
I hope to keep the purple one but the pink one is already in the glove box belonging to my 7-year old.
Fun and fast knit. Thank you Anna for letting me join your test knitting group.

Equinox Yoke pullover completed and Syfestivalen 2014
The Equinox Yoke Pullover is completed and I'm very happy with the result. The yarn is Lima from Drops.
I also spend Saturday at Syfestivalen and on "Stickas årsmöte".
Some needle replacement, yak, camel and einband for the fun of it and a pile of Rowan with the goal to make a present in XXL. In the back also the great bag that I won in UFOblirFounder2013 as my LUFO project DIVA. I missed my "shopping group" but overperformed on my own.

Equinox Yoke Pullover & UFO
In January knitting new projects was so much more fun than working on the UFO.
I started my Equinox Yoke sweater in December in Granhammar.
I bought the yarn years ago at Litet Nystan and I'm finally on the way.
It is a fun knit. Many threads to sew.......
My UFO January 2014 and it is now my February 2014 UFO. This month I will (hope) to get Freyja finsihed.
