Boxy & Baltic
My vacation project us completed. I've knitted Boxy, a long time qeued favorite. I treated myself to luxury yarn and have knitted it in Mad.tosh merino Light. The shade is named Baltic and it is "tone in tone" with the Baltic sea in the background. I thought that it would become more narrow than expected but it grew a lot during blockning and is now as planned. For the first skein I did not alter between two skeins and it shows a little. There us also some pooling but I'm very happy with the result. I can manage with some cool nights.

I was just browsing Ravelry to find projects and went to Kalinka to find gauge and found this on sale.
Lovely colors and I now can continue planning next project.

WWKIPD 2015
Today is the warmest day this year in Stockholm. I'm knitting in public at Leos lekland, watching the kids play and attending bithday party.
I'm making a cardigan and looking up patterns as I go.

Offshore V-neck is now an FO.
I had this sweater as my UFO for May. I started it as late as April this year but then I turned to other project s and if not ready now then it would have been left to the fall.
It is knitted in Cascade 220 heather, this is the first time I knit in this yarn. Very nice knitting and the cables comes out well. The sweater is not blocked yet, I leave that for a rainy day (or later).
I like the model with the cables and the saddles that goes to the back.
There are many "at the same time" and I missed a few but decided to go ahead and improvise. I managed to get the cables row at the WS for the sleeves. AS many had commented the number of stiches for the neck was few and I added more than 50%.
I wanted a big and cozy sweater and made size 45, maybe a big too big. After making a number of fitted cardigans I felt to knit something to cuddle up in.

Offshore V-neck pullover - my UFO for May
It rained some but Saturday was sunny and I got some time knitting on my Offshore V-neck pullover. This is also my UFO for May. If it's not ready this month I guess it will rest in my UFO pile to the fall. I'm know started working on the yoke so is may be possible to complete. The yarn is Cascade 220.
